There are two awards each year
The Malcolm Arnold Trophy This has been awarded annually since 2003 to the member of the Main Orchestra who has shown the greatest commitment and loyalty to the Orchestra during the year. The award is presented by the Mayor of Colchester at the Gala Concert in September.
The Susan Boddy Shield and Medal This has been awarded annually since 2005 to the member of the Training Orchestra who has shown the greatest loyalty, progress and commitment to the Orchestra during the year. The award is made at the Joint Concert in June. | ||
