Bradfield Church is in the centre of the village of Bradfield, which is between Manningtree/Mistley and Wrabness on the southern side of the Stour Estuary. (Grid reference TM 144 306) From Colchester you can go either via Manningtree: take the Harwich Road (A137) through Ardleigh, then in Lawford turn right onto the B1352 and drive through to Mistley Towers. At the T junction, turn right, still on the B1352, and in about two miles (3.5 kms) you will come to Bradfield and will see the church on the right. Drive straight past the church for about another hundred metres and you will find the Community Centre on the left where there is parking space. or by the A120: leave Colchester by the Ipswich Road, then take the A120 towards Harwich. After about 7or 8 miles (13 kms), you'll come to the Horsley Cross roundabout, - you'll see the water tower on the left as you approach the roundabout. Turn left onto the B1035. After a couple of miles turn right (there is a radio mast at the junction) and you will come to Bradfield village after another mile or two. The Community Centre, where there is parking space, is on the right about a hundred metres before the church. From anywhere south or west of Colchester, join the A12 and then at Junction 29 take the A120 and follow the instructions above.
The CRGS is in Lexden Road Colchester, on the left as you leave the town centre. The entrance is between Oxford Road and Beverley Road, more or less opposite Oaks Drive. There is limited parking in the school's front court yard.
St Botolph's Church is in St Botolph's Church Walk off St Botolph's Street, near St Botolph's roundabout, at the eastern end of Southway. Do not attempt to drive down St Botolph's Church Walk. There is ample parking nearby at two surface car parks just off the roundabout (currently free after 6.p.m.). There is also a multi-story car park in Osborne Street, just two minutes away. Colchester Town Railway Station is also two minutes walk from the church.
